Professor Hand, OBE, is currently Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Imperial College, London and a former President of the RSS. Since 2010, he has served as Chief Scientific Adviser to Winton Capital Management, who are sponsoring our statistical quiz WinAtSchool.
